This is a great little park in the Northshore / Concorde area. The only downside is that the entrance is on a bend in the road and sits a little lower so it can be a little hard to see. The only visual indicator is a small green sign giving the parks name.

They have several outdoor activity areas to enjoy. They have a playground at the lower end and a splash pad (water is only on during the summer until Labor Day) at the top of the hill for the little ones to have fun in. There is a large field for sports and other activities. There are a couple of basketball and tennis courts, and the park has a walking track that goes around it. There are picnic areas and also a boat launch for those that need access...

Splash pad is fun for the kids, downside is there is only 2 single stall bathrooms between the men and women. Bathrooms were disgusting, I would recommend holding it if possible. Not a good place to change in and out of swim clothes. After my 3 year had played in the splash pad area his entire body and hair reeked of pee. The water just smelled like recycled urine. While he had a blast and the park area was very nice, we probably won't be going back. Knox county needs to add more bathrooms for the size of the park and maintain them better. Not sure much can be done about the stench...

My four star rating takes into account the many amenities available at the park. We used to take my stepson to the park to play in the "splash pad" area. He loved the water on a hot summer day. They also have decent restrooms, tennis courts and a big field for football or soccer.

Our trip this afternoon was in pursuit of an outdoor basketball goal. They have one full court and one half court (3 goals). The goals are standard 10ft and one can still see the (faded) lines, for the 3 point arcs, the freethrow lines and the "paint." However the blacktop could stand...

Showed my mom my favorite park to watch the sunset and actually was surprised we spotted a Great Blue Heron 'fishing'! First time my mother, an avid bird watcher and budding bird photographer, had ever seen one! I even was able to get a great photo of the sunset, shore, pier, the Great Blue Heron and my wonderful mother all in one shot!

I go here on a weekly basis. There is so much to do. They have single seater restrooms and a water fountain. Plenty of parking, a small dock, fishing areas and a huge playground as well as basketball court and tennis court. I spend most of my time on the water on the little cove by the dock.
