On 11/9/19 I was a part of a large group (38 total) that visited this winery. DelMonaco was actually our final wine stop. The two wineries that we visited prior were very hospitable and accommodating. We were educated about each winery and learned so much about their wine process. Both of the wineries were small, but they were so friendly and truly engaged with our group. Most of us purchased 3 to 5+ bottles each.

Once we arrived at Delmonaco we were excited to see the vineyard, here about it's history and taste the wine. That excitment quickly fizzled. Once we entered we were told by an unfriendly man to go into another room and he would be right with us. We were a bit puzzled and mingled amongst ourselves. We took pictures and glanced at the few wine list that we had to share along the tables. From my understanding they were expecting our group because arrangements were made ahead of time, however it was clear that they were not prepared to accommodate us. The wine was not out and there were not enough host. To make matters worse, more attention was being paid to a smaller group separate from ours that was in the front room. Our situation became very frustrating as many of us tried to get tastings before our host kept running off to the front after serving a few of us, along with the host for the small group coming and taking our bottles to the front. Some of us only got 2 tastings when there should have been 5. Our host wasn't even willing to tell us about the history of the winery.

I can honestly say that the wines I was able to try were absolutely delicious, however due to the poor treatment and disregard that our group received I purchased nothing. Our group was comprised of individuals who are professionals: Law enforcement, current and retired military personnel, physicians... we came to have a good time, just like at our two previous stops where we each made significant wine purchases. Instead we walked away from this establishment disappointed without purchasing a thing.

Customer service is everything to me and to our group as a whole, it's what makes me/ud want to revisit places. After our experience sadly I have no desire to visit your...

We visited on Mother’s Day because we saw that they were having a brunch event. We waited to be sat for 30 minutes, and when we finally got to our table we sat for another 30 minutes before our server even came to us and took our drink order. We waited another 30 minutes for our drinks (1 1/2 hours to get a drink) my father ordered a coffee that was cold, and didn’t want to wait another 30 minutes for a fresh cup. Brunch is supposed to be breakfast/lunch type food, but they were only serving breakfast items (8 options on the menu) We waited almost two hours and didn’t even order food, due to the lack of items on the menu, and the lengthy wait to even get a drink. The table beside us ordered food and it took two hours for it to get to their table. We purchased a bottle of wine before we left, and when we got home we opened the bag to find that it wasn’t the correct bottle that we had asked for.

Mother’s Day is very special to me, as I enjoy taking my mom out to a nice place, and I’m a new mother myself. We left feeling so disappointed, and wished that we had gone anywhere else. I have been in the service industry my entire adult life, so I understand that holidays can be hectic. Not to mention businesses struggling working short staffed due to Covid. But I can honestly say that I’ve never wanted to up and walk out of a establishment as much as I did today. The only reason why we chose to stay was because we wanted to avoid the church rush, and we invested so much time waiting on our drinks, everywhere else would have been slammed. Which is why we chose to visit delmonaco early. They weren’t even that busy either. I can honestly say that this was one of the worst winery/brunch experiences that I’ve ever had in my life, and we definitely won’t return, or recommend to any more of our out of state friends. Pretty sad having such a lovely winery so close, with such terrible attentiveness and lack of...

ADULT EASTER EGG HUNT REVIEW. SHORT VERSION: DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS EVENT AND OUR EXPERIENCE ULTIMATELY RESULTED IN OUR GROUP NEVER WANTING TO COME HERE AGAIN. Please check Facebook for the full thorough review.

The actual egg hunt was over in 15-20 minutes. Ticket prices were not transparent and what was included with the tickets was never clear. My husband was 10 minutes late and no one was at the check in table for him to check into the hunt. This event was advertised as going until 5pm for what exactly?? The music was a DJ not live like advertised and was so loud you couldn’t have a conversation, so unless you had money to waste you weren’t doing anything the rest of the time this event went on.

I can promise not every single person got an egg, which should be embarrassing when you charged everyone the same $30.00. This is not about getting candy or eggs. This about knowingly selling a service and not ensuring that service is received by all who purchased it.

Overall this could be planned much better to prevent any adverse experiences like what we had. For the almost 100 dollars our group spent, we could’ve had a nice meal at Del Monaco, or simply saved 100 bucks. It’s is really really upsetting and disappointing that this business is spoken about and advertised like a staple of the community and then they knowingly charge a price that this event is not worth. Then when they know there is an issue they are annoyed and don’t take accountability.

I left this feedback so that others do not get their hopes up or waste their time, and also to provide Del Monaco a chance to make improvements to this event in the future. This event has potential but ultimately $100.00 is a day’s work or several meals and this event didn’t give you what...

Dreamy Vineyard Day Trip 🍷

The first time I visited DelMonaco, I was spending a girls weekend in a cabin nearby and we were looking for a nice day activity. I had seen billboards on the interstate for years but never had to opportunity to stop, so I was excited to check it out. Apparently, we visited on a weekend when the wine train was visiting the vineyard. That meant we were able to enjoy live music, fun games, and a hayride through the vines driven by the owner of the winery! There was a barbecue lunch available for purchase as well as many vendors to shop. When you win one of the games, you receive a “DelMonaco Dollar” worth $1 off a bottle purchase. The second time I visited was on the wine train itself! Representatives from the winery walk you through a tasting of all of the wines available at DelMonaco. Once we arrived, there were again all of the activities I had experienced before. Personally, I thought the bottle prices were a bit high (~$20 on average) but after playing a few games and winning a couple of dollars off, the wines are well worth the price. The winery was also offering a selection of local craft beers as well, for those in your group that may not love wine. As I was waiting to board the train, I noticed that the winery has several Tesla chargers which was a great surprise as the winery is a bit of a drive from Nashville. All in all, this hidden gem is definitely worth a visit.

Stayed overnight through Harvest Host. The location is beautiful, there are two large vineyard fields, a u-shaped tasting bar, and a cafe/restaurant with indoor event facilities and outdoor covered portico. The staff are about the nicest people you could ever meet, including working hard to try to find us assistance and even offering their own muscle when our camper slide motor broke. They do use a bus fleet with similar technology, so have definite expertise with motorized expandable vehicles. Caveat: I am not a wine-drinker. I don't often drink any alcohol at all, because of the flavor. The peach and strawberry wines in the "Sweet" category are phenomenal! Anyone who enjoys dessert wines even a little bit will find something to like there. The Del Monaco flavors tend to morph over the course of the sip, and the strawberry wine begins with a round flavor and ends with a spike, where the peach wine begins with honeyed notes and ends with a heavy and round peach flavor. If anywhere in the area, stop by! The chicken-parmesian sandwich and a side of sweet potato fries are amazing.
