The Ketner's Mill Country Arts and Crafts Fair is worth putting on your calender for a yearly visit. A sea of white tents on the banks of the Sequatchie River is a visual treat and an invitation to explore and discover. The grist mill produces freshly ground corn meal and grits. Sorghum cane is hand fed into a horse powered press to get the juice which is boiled down in a huge cauldron and sold in plastic or glass pints and gallons. Unique gifts by local artists ran the gamut of quilts, pottery, paintings, rock candles, photography and wood carvings. Don't forget the petting zoo before settling down to enjoy the live music while munching on fried pickles and funnel cakes. Can't wait till next year to do it...

Beautiful place which I have nothing but respect for I visit regularly and always obey the rules… that being said there is a fenced in area leading down to fish and on it is a sign that says closed dusk till dawn… me and my pregnant wife (visiting with family) were out of the fishing area before dusk but talked by our cars for just about 20 minutes as we were hugging goodbye the owner pulled up in a SXS blocking us from pulling out he then backed up and pulled up to my wife’s side of the car cutting it off and very disrespectfully told us to leave I understand it’s private property but post clear rules I obeyed the signs and was out of the fenced area all of this happened and it was only...
