I can't speak for the campground side since I stopped in off season (january) to check out the boat launch and picnic pavillion, but here are some pics i took of the restrooms / outhouses jan 2020. it's 2020, not 1890...I would be ashamed if i was in charge of these restrooms.

It's more of a camping park now not so much a go picnicking place very few tables. You really need to reserve a pavilion I guess. We went early and there were only 9 of us I called and asked if we could use a pavilion they said ok. It's good for groups. Not small family's

I'd use to live here my mommie say, let's go to Kinser park kids we'd grab our towels and shed always take drinks and some lunch. Back then they had a water slide, it's filled in nows, but they do have a big pool. Alot campers I'm sure they could find you a spot. I wanna say they also have long term spots available, not positive. But since Helena it's changed, that was a site you would only believe if you seen it with your own eyes. Heart breaking but grateful for no more deaths than the tragedy of Boone. It's handicap accessible so are the restrooms. Paivilians for those family reunions ppl have stopped having. Get out ppl, life is short. Be rejoiceful with the time we have left let your kids get to know their cousins, that crazy aunt that you loved growing up, I bet your kids would love her too, if they ever get to meet her. Time is precious and...

Nice pavilions and nice place to have a cookout, the pool is decent. Campground area looks nice and quite. Other than that that's about all the good there is. Playgrounds are run down and attractions are dangerous. The water slide looks fun if it wasn't for the mosquito infested muddy water in the pool at the end of it. Description on Google says there is tennis, but there's no tennis courts or nets. Volleyball, yeah if you like playing on an overgrown court. Putt putt course looks ok. Baseball fields are nice but apparently there only available to one certain local traveling baseball team. In general most of the park is fairly well maintained in most parts but others are in need of...

I am reviewing the hikeability of the park and the facilities for those who want to go here to enjoy nature. There is an area you can walk. We like to walk next to the old ball fields and make a loop along the road and by an old picnic shelter. The walk is ok with the family or pets. There are not good public restroom facilities. There use to be but the new owneres seem to have done little to maintain the old facilities witch is unfortunate as they look like the restroom facilities were once good. The kids played on the seesaw that was recently repaired. They enjoyed that.

The park could be nicer with a little more upkeep of the...
