After my recent visit to Ocoee Retreat, I would say it is a great place to bring a large groups for fellowship and bonding. The staff was friendly and the activities are plentiful. They have a dining facility available and is fully staffed. It's cafeteria style, which means you'll go through a line and will be served food. They have sanitizing stations and restrooms available for hygiene. While visiting, the lake equipment wasn't up to par. The inflatables were not fully operational and what I mean by inflatables. I mean those huge obstacle course style inflatables. The lodging was dated, but clean. Each lodge was provided with a full refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. You must provide your own dishes at the lodges. Bring twin sized sheets to cover the beds. The lodging was air conditioned. There is no cellular service available. Bring games, bring games, bring games and don't forget to bring games. At night due to no signals, there will be little to do at night. For example if it rains and there isn't an opportunity to do a campfire. You'll be stuck in your lodges. And there is a huge common area in each lodge, which gives you an opportunity to utilize these long tables and seating provided.

Great place to hold an event. Numerous activities including paintball, a mud obstacle course, a lake and water park, and rafting on the Ocoee river. The lodging was a bit rustic, but still decent. The food was better than I expected, and the staff were friendly. It's in a secluded area, so the cell reception isn't always very great, but you don't go there to spend time on your phone so that's not necessarily a bad thing.

We love this camp. We have been several times. The facilities are clean, the food is great, the staff are very accommodating. The Guides are always great and make the kids in our group feel at home. The activities are fun and challenging. We plan to return soon.

Possibly the worst weekend of my life. Was supposed to go on a nice sorority retreat but instead of bonding we spent the night in fear. People were roaming outside of our cabin at night and none of the doors locked, the staff was not eager to help us find the cabin when it was late and dark and a lot of us were lost getting there. We found various stains on the sheets, what was definitely blood on the ceiling and there were bugs and dirt everywhere. This place was absolutely horrendous and we left the morning after the first night because it was so unsafe and not clean at all. never come here. ever. also i didnt believe in ghosts until i spent the night at this place, i...

We brought about 60 people and unfortunately didn’t get the experience we paid for. Three of five activities were canceled or compromised due to either unclear rules and extreme safety restrictions. One cabin had a mice issue that ruined our food.

The on site manager was great, and most of the staff were cool, but several seemed undertrained or carried some attitude that took away from the experience. Unfortunately, the owner never responded when we reached out privately to resolve things. That silence spoke volumes. We appreciated the heart behind the camp, but major improvements are needed in leadership communication, staff training, facility upkeep, and overall...
