I'd rate the course at 4.5 stars, but I'll give a 5 star for the great staff and the affordable cost. As Shannon said the course is in pretty good shape. The tee boxes could use some help and in the dry conditions were pretty hard. We played on a couple of days after the greens were aerated and the sand lay was pretty aggressive so putting was just for funsies. The course has a lot of variety and plenty of tricky shots up and down hills. A whole bunch of above-and-below-the-feet lies will give you some good practice. Some blind tee shots over fairway rises may entice a few more irons from the box for accuracy. All of the doglegs were manageable and the many trees were mostly out of the way of most shots. The greens are pretty small, though, so you'll be your practicing accurate approaches or little chips. The bunkers were well defined and some cut nice and deep - and could of used some of the sand they laid on the greens. One thing we enjoyed on the pretty open course was the 'rough' where we could find and play our ball! In the northeast we often get 4-5 cuts in the rough and it makes missing the fairway pretty expensive and slows the game down. But above all, the staff at Warrior's Path was friendly and helpful with a warm welcome and a neighborly goodbye - even after we came back late having finished the 18th at sunset after an hour delay from a thunderstorm. Thanks for having...
ย ย ย Read moreThe course is great. However please, for goodness sakes, have someone clean the restrooms. The men's and women's are both consistently disgusting. Soap has been the same empty bottle for a week. Don't even want to get my shoes dirty in there! And the employees in the clubhouse, taking payments and making food. They don't care at all about their jobs. They really couldn't care less about helping people buy clubs. The girl yesterday behind the counter just stared blankly at customers placing orders with her. Didn't ask if she could take their order, very rude. Not expecting top quality service at a small town course. But common care and atleast a slight enthusiasm and awareness would be appreciated. Why would you pay a membership for a place where you don't feel welcome or can use...
ย ย ย Read moreA nice course in a state park with nice views and some wildlife too. Greens were in great shape except for a couple of the par 3s that had some areas that needed to recover. Sand traps were wet with some standing water due to recent rains. Tee boxes were not level in all places, and there were some severely slanted fairways so watch your ball until it stops. There are a few blind shots on the course and no bells or other signals to indicate a clear shot, so the pace of play is not as quick as it could be, but overall things moved mostly without trouble. We enjoyed our round and would play here again. Staff was really friendly...
