During our visit to the farm my daughter was bucked off one of the horses. The staff admitted to incorrectly saddling the horse. Right when it happened, they barely even checked on my daughter, never offered help, and were only worried about themselves. As we tried to make a speedy exit to check on my daughter's health, one of the women in charge delayed giving us our credit card back, trying to charge us for the pony ride and petting zoo instead of prioritizing my daughter's health. They had zero training for an emergency situation and handled it as poorly as they possibly could have. They had young kids running most of the events and the one adult woman that got involved was disgustingly rude, only caring if we paid for all our tickets and nothing of my daughters safety. Strongly suggest caution for anything involving large animals at this farm as they have no plan or safety...
Read moreWe had the best experience for my daughter’s 2nd birthday today. We really didn’t know what to expect because we have never to been to krochmal Farms and I booked it by finding it on google but once we got there it was such a great surprise. We booked a tent and had total control of which activities we wanted to do for our guests. We got to do pony rides for the kids, feed animals in the petting zoo, check out the pumpkins and did a big birthday hayride. The farm is large and there was plenty of space for kids to run around and be silly. We loved that it wasn’t congested and overwhelming. We bought tickets for our guests depending on what everyone wanted to do and there weren’t any restrictions and no one breathing down our necks. All our guests kept saying what a great space we chose. Highly recommend for a fun day event or a birthday...
Read moreWent for the pumpkin festival. I was disappointed about the prices. It was $2 to enter the petting area and then it was $2 for an ice cream cone with food for the animals. It was $7 each for the hay ride and corn maze. I think the pony rides were $7 each. I just didn't expect it to be as much as it was. I thought they would offer a package deal as well. But if you have a family of 4 to feed and pet the animals you're looking at $10 if you only buy 1 thing of food which wouldn't last very long with 2 kids. And even if you don't feed them as the adults you still have to pay the fee to enter. There is another farm that offers a hay ride corn maze and playground along with a few other things for free when you go picking for...
