6th Street Park — Attraction in Texas Charter Township

This is a park in progress. Currently there are pickleball courts and a paved walking trail that is a little less than half a mile. No public restrooms yet but they are planned soon. There are stations with dog waste pick up bags. Pets are supposed to be leashed here but all too frequently there are folks there allowing their dogs to run loose. This is not a good idea for many reasons, such as 6th St is semi-busy street with a speed limit of 55mph and vehicles often go faster.
