The Art Factory of White Mills — Attraction in Texas Township

Always a great experience coming here. Owners are very helpful and sweet. Lots of different styles of art from local artists! Although this trip we came closer to closing the owners were kind enough to let us browse and make a purchase! The very kind and thoughtful gentleman allowed myself and my boyfriend to learn how to properly cut stained glass, which was extremely generous of him I appreciate it very much. There was also four very sweet dogs to greet us which I also appreciated. Definitely recommend coming here! Just a note, I see a couple of negative reviews based off of the fact that you can not take pictures of the art work, the art is for sale and hand crafted by local artists who have put a lot of time and effort into their works. Finally stopped in, very chatty owners which is nice. The gallery is loaded with all types of art work for sale and the prices are affordable. Especially like the metal sculptures made from old tools, bought one and very happy with it. I feel this gallery has a nice cross section of painting styles so something for every taste but a bit heavy on primitive and large selection of photography. The wood turnings are well done. They even offer classes. Worth the stop and I am sure you will return several time. Really lovely art collection, not particularly friendly staff. My wife and I went to look for art from some local artists, and the selection at the Art Factory is excellent. However, we were scolded for trying to take pictures. It's not like we were going to reproduce the pieces at home, but it is helpful to look at photos in the space where the art should go.
