King Fisher Beach — Attraction in Texas

Over the years, this beach has changed dramatically. There are public restrooms, large playground for the kiddos, as well as swings. It's so beautiful to come down to the beach at night and watch the water while swinging. So peaceful. As well as a lighted peir to fish off of. They seem to have installed a accessibility path. Almost all the way to the water, it made it where my husband was able to walk the beach with his disability. He grew up playing and fishing the same peir, I didn't realize how much something so simple as a path could positively affect so...

Took my dogs for their first visit to the beach. It was a fairly clean area. Plenty of pavilions, a shower to rinse off, lots of sand (not a lot of seashells). The water was shallow for a good distance so you have plenty of room to run around in the water. There were a few rusted metal pieces in the water but it was clear so you could avoid them. Long peir to go fishing off. Over all it was a great place. Will definitely make this a frequent...

Perfect beach for kids, shallow water, plenty of space on a Saturday. We found several types of crabs and a dead sting ray. Water was clear and so so fun for the kids to explore. Very peaceful.

Update: We went again on a Saturday, the perfect amount of people enjoying the beach. We did spot several jellies, including a Stinging Nettle that stung a child in our group. They were over the pain within a few minutes. Just be mindful and reapply...
