The walls don't talk, but the interpreters do...and they make the experience so much richer with their knowledge and excitement about the place and time. Great boardwalk to the visitor center and lovely walk through the pecan, oak and walnut trees to Levi Jordan's home. The hands on archeology lab was interesting. Looking forward to more interpretive/learning events to deepen my understanding and appreciation for all the peoples that settled and built the cradle of Texas.

The team here is wonderful! We had our first visit today and really enjoyed the property. It so amazing to see how the state is preserving the property and have developed the visitor center to share the history with the public.

I never knew this even existed, I had to bring them some supplies for work. VERY cool place. I will definitely come back when I'm not on the clock and check it all out!

It's a new historical site. I first visited Hog Varner historical site and the staff recommended me Levi Jordan site(it's free if I paid here). So far there is not much to see, but the big and quiet green space surrounding the old house...
