From the time Carson answered the phone, to driving away, what an experience! I have done one zipline before, but nothing like this experience. All I can say is make the drive, and go big! If you don't, you'll regret it. Everyone should experience Ziplining through the trees. We arrived before our appointment time, got checked in, and then started walking around the grounds. Taking in the beautiful views was relaxing and inspiring. You can see for miles and miles up there in the clouds. Once it got time for our appointment, the staff began getting gear on everyone in the group. They were so good with the children! Everyone gets great gear, gloves with extra leather padding, a water bottle holder, phone holder if you wish, and of course a helmet. Then you make your way over to ground school. They do a great job explaining how you will be operating out on the course. You actually get hooked in, and do a short zip right off the ground to demonstrate what it will be like, and exactly how to deal with multiple situations, such as getting stuck just short of the platforms. After everyone is done, then you proceed over to the tower to kick off. The staff all goes first to get set up down the course. Carson sent all groups out together and everything went quick and smooth. Zipping down the first shorter line gets you some quick idea, and then the lines get progressively longer which is so much fun. You are literally flying down the line with the wind blowing in your hair. About halfway through the course, there are a couple short 2 minute walks up a hill to the next platform but it's shady and quick. The last long line was of course the best. The kids were a little anxious at first, but by the time they finished, they were talking about how we should zipline everywhere! We can't wait to go back and look forward to seeing this in the different seasons. Thank you Texas ZipLine Adventures!

Terrible Experience. AWFUL .You see the 1star reviews from people saying the owner named CARSON is rude? Believe them! It's true. He acted friendly when my mom & son went to tour the place a week prior.. then When we first arrived he acted friendly.. we waited an hour for things to start then we were suited up & ready to do our safety test. I have never done this activity before so I was confused as to how to do the test.. instead of letting the assistant help me he signalled over to the employee to take me off the rail. He proceeded to come over & yell at me in front of a group of 20 people to remove "his" equipment. I asked what's wrong? I don't understand.. he said " I'm not putting you on this. I'm refunding you & you're leaving. I asked to give me another chance to take the test. He refused & proceeded to yell at me in front of my 10 year old son saying he's the owner & he's gonna remove the equipment off me himself. I said no you're not touching me. I asked why he was being so rude & he laughed at me. I started filming how we was acting so he pulled out a weight scale & told me to get on it. He was trying to fat shame me & say I was too big . I said why didn't you weigh me before I paid?I saw a very thin girl struggle with the test & he said nothing to her. He fat shamed & embarrassed me. Btw I'm not huge. I'm a curvy 180. He is so rude & tried to keep our money . He said I'm banned from the premises. I filmed the entire experience. I'm posting it on my tik Tok. He has a very " better than everyone" attitude. Very disrespectful. The way he treated me in front of my son was disgusting. Btw I drove almost 3 hours to this spot just to be sent home. Waste of our entire day. This man should feel ashamed of how he treats people

As I arrived at New York Texas Zipline Adventures, the anticipation bubbled within me. I’d never ziplined before, and the thought of soaring through the air was both exhilarating and nerve-wracking. The Boy Who Assisted Me The young staff member, eager to guide me, greeted me with a friendly smile. His enthusiasm was contagious, and I appreciated his patience as he explained the safety procedures. I felt a mix of excitement and apprehension—after all, I was about to conquer my fear of heights. Carson, the Owner And then there was Carson—the owner, I assumed. His presence was commanding, and I sensed an air of authority around him. As I prepared for my first zipline, Carson signaled to the boy. Their exchange was cryptic, but I brushed it off, assuming it was part of their routine. The Unexpected Turn As I glided down the zipline, the wind rushing past, I felt alive. But halfway through, I lost momentum. Panic set in—I hadn’t quite mastered the art of pulling myself back. The boy below encouraged me, ready to guide me through another attempt. Yet, Carson intervened. Carson’s Intervention Carson’s stern expression caught me off guard. He gestured for me to remove my equipment, and confusion swirled within me. Why was he interfering? Was I doing something wrong? The boy hesitated, glancing at Carson, who shook his head imperceptibly. My chance for redemption slipped away. The Scale Incident And then it happened—the moment that left me stunned. Carson pulled out a scale. Yes, a scale. He looked me up and down, assessing my weight. His judgment hung heavy in the air. I felt exposed, vulnerable. Was this part of the adventure? Or was it a cruel twist? His Mom’s Intrusion Carson’s mom appeared, phone in hand. She aimed it at me, recording. Fear clenched my chest. What was she capturing? Was this some bizarre initiation? I wished I could vanish into thin air. The boy shifted uncomfortably, torn between loyalty and empathy. Reflections As I left New York Texas Zipline Adventures, my emotions were a whirlwind. The thrill of ziplining clashed with the discomfort of Carson’s actions. I wondered if this was the norm—judgment and humiliation packaged as adventure. I vowed to find out more, to share my experience with others. Final Thoughts Ziplining should be about freedom, courage, and breathtaking views—not about scales and assumptions. New York Texas Zipline Adventures, you left me conflicted. Adventure seekers, proceed with caution. And to Carson: kindness weighs nothing, but it matters more than any zipline ever...
