This is a very well put together museum, and the people that run it are awesome. We have been here twice. First time we had a grandson with us, and online said it was open. We got there and it was closed, so as we are driving out a car is pulling in, they stopped us and asked if we wanted to see the museum. Of course we said yes. The three of us got a personal tour, complete with a ride around in a model t from building to building and down the air strip. Really neat place and they answer all questions about anything that is there, from the kick start washing machine to all the cars and trucks(most run, all model t's), to all the very old airplanes that most of them fly. Second time we went to get raffle tickets for a model t, they gave away last wkend at the airshow they had. Just a awesome place ran by awesome people. We...

This place is a hidden jewel in Central Texas. A place dedicated to the restoration of planes and vehicles from the Great War (WWI). During our visit we had the chance to see their workshops where the magic happens and older planes, sometimes just puzzles, become alive. The museum's owner was very kind and provided us with explanation regarding how planes get fixed, what materials they use, how they where used. and some history. We left with a big smile. Volunteers to work on the plane are welcomed. Whenever you go there, please bring your camera. I posted a lot of pictures, but honestly those pictures do not do justice to that place. This is a place for having a unique cultural experience and a window into our historical past. This place has a bonus: Their collection of collectible vehicles from that era is...

I happened upon this place while taking a short cut down a back country road. I'm so happy I found this place! Antique car shows, military vehicles, airplane shows, and drone operators allowed! I stopped to ask questions about locating a legit FAA Drone Certification location and they not only were they able to provide me with some valid leads, but I found so much more! I can't wait to attend their shows tomorrow! Please put this location on your maps/in your phones, and if you love antique cars, have one you'd like to show, want to watch air shows, and have a place to practice flying your drone- these guys are great! They do not charge, donations accepted- so please donate if you come out! This place deserves to afford to keep this museum/location to provide entertainment open and...

We enjoyed our visit today to this museum with cars and planes from WWII times/1900s, We enjoyed viewing from corner to corner. Our tour guide & Pilot was very informative and kind, You could tell this time period is his passion, I'm very impressed at all they know to rebuild from research to motor to craftmanship and all the way to making it fly! I would definitely recommend this to everyone I know because this is a must do for anyone from any age 🤗 🗓 MAY 1st - THEY HAVE A FLY-IN EVENT & WE CAN'T WAIT TO COME BACK FOR THAT!!!

If you are even remotely considering visiting this place, please go! We visited on a Wednesday afternoon so we received our own private, unhurried tour through 5 buildings with Roger. He was a gracious and patient host as we took him away from his restoration work for almost 2 hrs, but his knowledge and love for his work is quite evident. Amazing work they are doing on restoring planes and vehicles to working order whether for the Pioneer museum or for others around the country. Hope to get back there for the Fly-in in November!
