Radha Madhav Temple is a Hindu temple located in Austin, Texas, USA. The temple was established in 1997 and is dedicated to Radha and Krishna, the divine couple in Hindu mythology. The temple is managed by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the teachings of Bhagavad Gita and the practice of devotional service.

The temple complex is quite impressive, with a large main shrine dedicated to Radha and Krishna, and smaller shrines dedicated to other deities such as Lord Narsimha, Lord Jagannath, and Lord Balarama. The temple also has a community hall, a kitchen, and a gift shop.

The main shrine is beautifully decorated, with intricate carvings and paintings that depict the life and stories of Radha and Krishna. The temple also has a large courtyard where various cultural events and festivals are celebrated throughout the year, including Janmashtami, Radhashtami, and Holi.

The temple has a vibrant and joyful atmosphere, and the devotees are friendly and welcoming. They conduct regular kirtans (devotional singing) and offer various services, such as arati (worship with lamps), kirtan, and prasad (offering of sweets).

One of the unique features of this temple is the emphasis on Bhakti Yoga, which is the practice of devotion and love for God. The temple hosts regular classes and workshops on Bhakti Yoga, and provides a great opportunity to learn and practice various devotional techniques.

Overall, Radha Madhav Temple in Austin is a beautiful and vibrant place of worship that provides a great opportunity to connect with the teachings of Bhagavad Gita and the practice of Bhakti Yoga. It is a great place to visit for anyone who is interested in learning more about the philosophy and practice of Krishna...

Visiting Radha Madhav Dham on the first day of 2024 was an unforgettable experience that deeply enriched my spiritual journey. Nestled in the picturesque hills southwest of Austin, this expansive Hindu Temple and Ashram stands out as a beacon of peace and devotion. Its grandeur is not just in its size, but in its open-hearted welcome to visitors from all walks of life, making it a unique and inclusive spiritual haven.

Participating in the religious services, I felt a profound sense of connection with Lord Krishna and Shrimati Radha Rani. The temple's dedication to guiding souls towards moksha is palpable in its serene atmosphere, where the hustle of the outside world fades into a tranquil chant of devotion. The experience was more than just a visit; it was a step forward on the path to liberation from the cycle of reincarnation.

The hike on the Govardhan hill added a mystical dimension to the visit. The panoramic view of the temple amidst the lush greenery was mesmerizing, further enhancing the spiritual ambiance. This natural setting offers a perfect backdrop for meditation and reflection.

Radha Madhav Dham is not just a temple; it's a vibrant interfaith community actively participating in charitable works, embodying the unity and harmony of all religions. It's a must-visit for anyone seeking spiritual growth in a peaceful and sacred...

This is a beautiful place, filled with divine vibrations. The main prayer hall has a skydome surrounded by quotations from scriptures like Gita and Ramayana that refer to surrendering oneself to God. Temple walls outside have beautiful carvings of Radha Krishna. There is a shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. There is also large pond with lotus flowers. There are flowers and trees everywhere on their 200+ acre land, and a very serene atmosphere for meditation.

Everyone is welcomed here. I found the volunteers to be very humble and friendly. Food served is simple, healthy, and satvic. They celebrate all Indian festivals. There are week long family camps multiple times a year and other events with programming for both adults and kids of all ages.

I feel fortunate to have found this here in the US. Being born in a Sikh family, I grew up learning the importance of surrender and faith in God and Guru. This truly came to life after coming here. The teachings are authentic and represent Sanatan Dharma. Jagadguru Shree Kripalu Ji Maharaj is a SatGuru (True Saint).

If you are interested in God realization, start by reading Prem Ras Siddhant (available in their Gift shop). Listen to the chantings and mediate on the beautiful moortis of Radha Krishna and it really will purify you inside out and you will experience real joy.

Jai...

Excellent Family outing with kids esp. My 7 year enjoyed planing with peacocks ; we saw deers while entering the Temple. Good Staff to take care of your checkins,we checked in late around 7:45 pm and thought we will eat outside, but the Reception lady was so good she called the Dinning Room and found if their is any food left for 8 people ; and the Canteen provided us the food. We washed our dishes in the Kitchen. Rooms are clean and good. Best Part was that Next day same lady told us that Mr Bhim Ji will walk us to small hill opp to the Temple. We started on time at 10 am and it was so nice in the morning walking up hill and so close to Nature and from Hill Top you can see the Perfect view of Temple. So please request for the Hill tour which is provided by Temple. After we came down then we entered inside temple. You will be mesmerized with the beauty of Radha and Krishna then realized why everyone around you are so loving. We told to ourselves that we are going to visit once a year to this place and get away from Phones and Internet to have good family time.

Love going to Radha Madhav Dham for a beautiful Diwali celebration. The Ram Leela play about Ram, Sita, Lakshman and Ravana was beautifully done and even funny at times. Very ingenious stage mechanics to make Hanuman fly to go pick up the entire mountain- hanging on a cable above cotton clouds. The monkey army - made up of little kids - was adorable. Ravana’s grand entrance was very powerful, rhythmic and impressive. Great direction, costumes, stage mechanics and props. Great effort from all who created this theatrical presentation of the classic and ancient play. Too loud though - had to stuff my ears with bits of napkins to stop from having ear damage standing near the speakers. People who sit in the front rows should be considerate and not stand up and block the view for those beyond on the back of the hall. One request : please don’t do the vouchers and tickets to buy food at food stalls. Please let us use VENMO or cash apps. I hate getting in line to buy more tickets and would rather skip my chai or desert than get in line again.

It was a little surprise fir us as the temple was not as we were expecting it. No doubt they have a big land and replicated few of the places from Vrandavan but it looked like not well maintained. The green area / gardens were also not properly maintained. The main temple was big enough and the radha krishna idol was quite beautiful. They have rooms for people to stay and kitchens to arrange for thier food and same sports stuff. For spending a peaceful weekend while remembring the god, this will be a good place but if you have an expectation to see some huge temple with great architecture, you may be disappointed. In addition, i think, winter may not be a good time to go there. Finally God is every where and nothing can be beautiful than him. JAI RADHE MADHO...
