I originally booked for a bring your own tent experience however I saw later on that the cabins were 20% off so decided to upgrade (this was 6 days prior) to which Christian helped me do so, no problem. I informed him that I’d call back with my card info as I did not want them to charge the one they had on file. According to Christian that was not an issue. I had an issue with my phone so I had to call the following day and upon doing so I happened to check my email to see that they in fact charged the card they had on file. Noah/Noel answered so I informed him of the card situation to which he replied that bc it’s now 5 days away from our reservation date the auto system withdrew the remaining balance from the card on file then informed me of their auto payment process, however I should have been informed of this prior to avoid this situation. I was willing to let that go, then proceed to ask if at least the 20% discount was applied, to which he said no. Then I reiterate the 2 issues they have caused for me so far then ask what’s going to happen from here bc the whole point was to get the 20% discount promo. Prior to telling me what he can do for me, Noah/Noel informed me that they “usually don’t do this” but since he’s the current manager, he will do this for me just this one time, and adjust the price so I’ll have a $73 credit (Gaslighting at its finest) and he’ll speak to the associate who failed to inform me of their auto payment process so that it won’t happen again. He made me feel as if it was my fault, I almost wanted to cancel the whole thing however if I did that I wouldn’t receive a full refund, so either way I’d lose out on MY money! The cabin/fancy tent, was nice, only complaint is no one clearly swept. They also fail to mention that floating the river is not included with your stay! It’s an additional over priced fee! The property was decent, however not much space between cabins, tents, etc. We weren’t greeted upon arrival, I had to initiate assistance, after doing so Matthew was professional and informative with his responses. Later that day, and the next day a young girl was working, who also didn’t greet us even though she made eye contact she proceeded to look down as if I wasn’t standing right there! So I again had to say hello, and initiate assistance. Raul, and a couple of older gentleman roaming the property were professional, and kind. Raul greeted us, was helpful, and informative. Overall we did make the best of it, however the lack of professionalism from some of the staff, and the lack of information provided negatively affected our experience. Some ppl travel quite a distance, it be nice to be greeted, and feel welcomed. We did use $25 from the credit I have, our mind set was “might as well,” even though we really didn’t want/need to use it. Now we’re still forced to either go back and use the remaining credit, or lose out on my money. Apparently they aren’t aware of the economy we live in. $73 is a significant amount of money that could have been used for gas to, and from, as we do live almost 3hrs away, or money to feed my family...
Read moreHad one of the worst experiences of my life here. Booked this place for my best friends birthday party two months in advance. We get here around 2p, check in, and the staff member, Trinity saw that another group was in our cabana when they were not permitted to be there. The group was out swimming and she proceeded to move all their belongings, and stated that she would tell them that the were not allowed to stay once they returned. The group was livid to find their belongings, moved and proceeded to tell the staff member that they booked this cabana and the staff had no right to touch their belongings. Turns out... they did book that cabana and the staff erroneously gave our cabana away to another group. The staff apologized to us and the other party, and offered free wrist bands to float, and an extended stay in the cabana. The staff member informed me that another cabana was available for us. However, the situation repeated itself! The cabana had another groups belongings, and the staff proceeded to do the same thing! Touch their stuff without consent and move them to the side and said no one booked this cabana and they were staying their without paying. The story repeated itself. The group was livid, and I didn't like how the staff handled the situation. A staff member named James threw a coworker under the bus and blatantly said it was that coworkers fault this happened. This situation caused stress to my group and it delayed us by two hours. But what really upset me was the lack of respect, integrity, and accountability. They told me the manager would come by and talk to me and provide me with wristbands and never did. I went twice to try to find the manager and was unsuccessful. He was no where to be found! The staff had a hard time even getting him to resolve the conflict, and never showed up. I was told i had to call reservation to get a refund. Talk about giving me the run around and not caring. Will NOT be coming...
Read moreIf I could give a rating of zero, I would. The stay here is the worst I've ever experienced. They advertise tents with AC and clean showers and bathrooms. This was not the case for my group on July 15. We rented out four bell tents with AC and ended up leaving in the middle of the night because the breakers kept tripping every five minutes. The AC never ran long enough to cool the inside of the tent in the middle of a heat wave! The staff members blamed it on the heat and attempted fixing the issue by running extension cords from one plug to another. They expressed that this had been happening prior to our arrival. If this was the case, why weren't we notified and allowed to reschedule or cancel?? Instead they opted to allow us to drive 3 hours to the campsite and learn of the situation at that time. When we arrived, the check in attendant told us that the AC's had been turned on but that the breakers were tripping but we shouldn't worry because they were going to hook up to the "stage" and rectify the problem. They also said that the bathrooms and showers would be cleaned immediately after the day renters left so that those who were staying overnight could have clean bathroom and showers for use. This all sounded great to us. But this is NOT what we received. At one point, one of my family members started helping the staff on site by running extension cords and clicking the breakers back on every time they tripped. We ended up leaving and driving back home! I have called several times and spoken to Yuli, Olivia, Jess and Ryan requesting for a full refund. The first time I was told that the office manager who was authorized to refund was in the hospital. I've been waiting for Jamie to return my phone calls since yesterday. I called back today and asked to speak to the owner and was told she would call me back. I shall wait and see if...
