Stoney Creek Park — Attraction in Texas

This is a beautiful place to exercise, walk your dog, etc. Sadly, there will be always individuals who were raised without ethics. They do not respect laws, probably think they can do whatever they want without knowing what they really are: sociopaths. I am saying these because one of the park's rule is that dogs MUST be on a leash but l have seen many dog owners disregarding these rule. They take their dogs, some are big or the kind that is considered dangerous, without leash and let them run freely.. They really don't care about the safety of other people or dogs. Is really sad that grown men or women need a mother or another adult to make them enforce society rules. They are so childish because if nobody with authority is watching them they do whatever they pleased.They probably consider themselves too important to follow the law. This extensive recreational complex is tucked into Pflugerville. It offers a dog park, a Frisbee Golf Course, a large Pavilion, playscapes for children, and walking paths. All of them are first-rate, and there is plenty of parking. There are restrooms in the Pavilion area, but they are closed right now.....first due to Covid, then due to the freeze! .......A separate location is on the other side of the creek and south of the main park on Harris Ridge Boulevard about a 1/4 mile...see wooden sign in pics. Beautiful park in the north east side of Austin. Expansive green and scenery for everything from flying kites to soccer matches to laying out to family reunions. But for me, it is almost mostly all about the 18 baskets that run throughout the park. The North Town disc golf course is my favourite way to spend a coupla hours in the early afternoon. As expected with any place as pretty as this, it can get crowded so off hours during the week are recommended for a more leisurely...
