Nice little park. Unsure what's it's called as Google maps has like three different names for this place. It was a great spot to watch the sunset and admire that view from this spot. It was moderately busy and definatley a hotspot for photographers as there were a few taking pics of clients which makes sense because the Sunset was spectacular! I was passing through for work and drove by and decided to stop. Glad I did because it was the best sunset I saw on my visit to Texas. Not much else here at the park though. There are pavilions, grills, and picnic tables. There are no dedicated parking spaces just a pull up and park where you can. Worth a stop just for the Sunset. Read moreVolunteer at front desk was extremely friendly. But the engineers lack accountability on keeping this lake clean and free from pollution that ultimately waters the surrounding area. It is a giant cesspool. With low grade management. When’s the last time this lake was cleaned? No call backs or answers to questions about growing concerns over water reservoir being funded by tax payers dollar. These people think they are above the law. Get your act together! And get this lake cleaned. We can’t drink from it how are people allowed to swim and fish in it. Y’all...
