Wheel Zone Skate Park — Attraction in The Colony

Perfect park for beginners and those (like me) who might be a little too old for the tall transitions and rails/ledges in other parks in the area. Most things are doable and you can step up incrementally to bigger tricks. I'm no pro, not even close but I can get up on the small curves at this place. It's a smaller park but I spend more time skating here than I do at other places like Allen and Mckinney. This is my new go to place whenever I want to push my board around. Was really impressed with this little park. Visiting from out of town. Even though the space is small they did a good job of making the most of it. I love this park. It's never crowded. The obstacles are small and easy to learn on. It's right next to a police station so it feels more secure.
