Crawford Oaks and Trailhead is AMAZING. I swear it’s out of the Teletubbies show. The photos do not do it justice. You can hike amongst wild flowers, wild birds, creeks, and different terrains.
It could be kid friendly if you take the shorter 6 mile route. There’s an 8 mile loop. I was able to walk with basic hiking shoes on the paved first path. You do have to pay $11 if you pay online.
