Very disappointing. Booked my reservation 6 months in advance because I wanted to be on the water based on the pictures they posted. Seems like false advertisement when I got there. Showed a beautiful picture of clear water. In fact when I got there it was basically a swamp and somebody was in my sight. Then when I said something to the people at the office they stated oh well we took a picture from your site okay well I don't want to know what my view looks like I want to know what my site looks like I'm coming from out of town. Plus on their site they don't tell you that two and three or 20 minutes away from the showers.

The showers did not work the majority of the time we were there it was ice cold water the first few nights of our stay were 40° so we were taking showers that were like the Titanic on top of the cold temperatures which were ridiculous. Unfortunately I have super sensitive skin and that's why I called three times to make sure even a couple weeks in advance to make sure they were up and operational. They said they were working so I guess you have to be pacific with this Campground and ask if the hot shower is working. Nobody's usually in the office you can never find a maintenance person the bathrooms are disgusting the toilets are backed up most of the time the trash is never taken out of the bathrooms people put it in the bathrooms and nobody comes and takes it out.

I mean I know we're camping but still there were some very weird people showing up to use the showers with on marked a vehicle's bald tires going into the women's room. It is not a safe campground to be at there was nobody to report it to. Obviously nobody at this Campground cares about anybody safety furthermore the map is incorrect I had a medical problem. And that is how I found out that part of their map says it's a Marina and it is not a marina it's the lodge boat ramp.

We ended up having to call 911 to have them assist us which is ridiculous because we know how to read maps we know how to follow Maps but there's are incorrect. Their trials are not maintained and neither are their properties. I will never stay at this property again.

In fact I will probably be writing a letter to the governor to let them know that they really need to look at this property. And talk to some of the people here to do their jobs they don't even clean all the spiders around the bathroom so hopefully none of them are venomous or poisonous.

Then I wanted to move because my site was 20 minutes away from where the bathrooms were which are not stated on there and the site that I booked was not as advertised and they were going to charge me more for it which is absolutely ridiculous first off this is on your Campground for being incorrect on your website to begin with you should have given me a discount and you should have just moved me to begin with. I booked that because I wanted peace and quiet they were having a party they had a bunch of RVs down there and I can't only place they didn't enforce them not to be down there which is ridiculous. There are so many problems with this place.

That's just the beginning of it I would suggest staying anywhere but here especially if you are a young woman traveling by yourself there was at least four nights that really shady looking men went into the women's room. And I do not think they were people that were...

Very disappointed in our stay this year we have always enjoyed our stay there every year we make a point to make several families to join us that week . But we came in a day early which was approved at reservation center to enjoy 3 days instead of 2 . But on our 2 day we were approached by staff saying we were to check out cuz they had it rented out to a class reunion party going on all night friday never complained about the drinking and cusing going on next door just kept our young grandsons inside then to be approached the next morning to say we had to move to another cabin or check out . Somehow when i added a day they asumming i was leaving early not sure how that happened cuz over the phone i made sure to let them know i was leaving on july 1 as previously planned which i had a email stating the fact. So we had to pull up everything and moved to another cabin for over night which was ate up with little ants which we had to leave most of our belongings in our truck so we didnt take them home or get into what food we had. Not sure if we r going to come back next year or find another spot to go to...

I really enjoyed hiking here! I backpacked from dock 3 to dock 2 then camped overnight and packed back! It was my first trip backpacking, and I had a great time! The facilities were clean and the trail was overall well taken care of. There were some downed trees on the trail with one section that was very difficult to cross near dock 2 as there were multiple trees in the same area at varying heights. My dog and I ended up going off trail a bit and around the trees as there was no way I could think of to get both of us and my pack over. For the other sections of trail that had down trees, the logs were fairly easy to step over. Lots of elevation changes and the trail was a bit narrow at times so definitely more of a hiking trail than just a walking or nature trail (which is what we were looking for!). The campsite was clean and there was running water available to share with other sites. Bathrooms available, no sinks or showers (also fine by us, just something for...
