Indian Hill Historical Society - Little Red Schoolhouse — Attraction in The Village of Indian Hill

The Little Red Schoolhouse was an idyllic venue for our unique wedding in June, 2024. The wooded property and one-room schoolhouse provided the perfect blank slate for our creative wedding. We were able to make the most of both the outdoor and indoor space as we held the ceremony outside preceded by games and cocktails. We dined outside under tents and danced inside until 2:00. This venue is the perfect blank slate as you are able to select your own vendors. We did have to hire a wedding coordinator, but we loved the autonomy we had. The facility has a sound system and projector so there are many possibilities for inside. The large trees outside shaded the outdoor area, which is very secluded so that noise is not a problem for neighbors. Parking is plentiful. We even had a food truck for dessert; it was conveniently located with enough spaces for guests. Lawre, the admin for the Indian Hill Historical Society was very helpful and clear concerning rights and responsibilities. She made it easy to access the facility. We recommend this...

What a location for an event. The facility is amazing and the Indian Hill Historical Society is a wonderful organization. We recently hosted our wedding at the Little Red Schoolhouse after looking for a long time for a place that would provide us space to put together the wedding of our vision and not one that was most convenient for rental facility and the vendors they have established. The Little Red Schoolhouse provided us with a huge among of flexibility to host different parts of the event indoors and outdoors, we were able to arrange our own catering and put together an original design and arrangements. The Little Red Schoolhouse had ample amenities to support our goals. Everything was easy to refine and work with and the kitchen allowed us to prep much of the food ourselves. Not to mention the location and the building itself are beautiful. Simply put, it would have been extremely hard to put together the wedding we always wanted...
