Very disappointing. I called a few days ago to ask some questions and was never told by the person I spoke to what I am about to write. The price on the website is $10 per adult ticket. Confirmed by rep. We got there on Saturday to find it's only $10 on Fridays, the rest of the weekend it's $14.95. But- the WORST thing about their advertising is that their "mega maze" of corn wasn't- we went there just for that, only to find that their corn was only 3 feet high!!! The person on the phone did NOT say anything about that. They did say on their website that the maze was smaller, but to all of us, that meant that instead of it being 10 acres, maybe it was 8. But NEVER that the corn was shorter! Honestly, they have some nerve advertising a corn maze at all when their main attraction is not operable. Then, instead of charging everyone half price for their trouble of showing up for something that doesn’t exist, they still have the nerve to charge FULL PRICE for something they did not deliver. I understand that no one has control of the weather, but for goodness sake, don't falsely advertise what you offer! My family drove 1.5 hours so we could all be together to go, and my nephew as well as all of us were sorely disappointed, and then pissed because we were totally lied to. Had we known there was no corn maze to walk through, we would not have wasted our time planning this outing and instead would have found a different place to go. Never again. Oh and we didn't stay- we weren't paying $14.95 per person for absolutely nothing. Totally FALSE ADVERTISING. I hate to be this way regarding a small family farm, but I hate being lied to even more. UPDATE: you can see the reply from the farm below. Obviously, they do not listen or care, as the focus of my review was the corn maze. Verbatim from website: "Central Florida's Largest Corn Maze". That is prominent on the site but nowhere does it say anything about corn being only 3 feet high. THERE IS NO CORN MAZE unless you are a midget or 5 year old child. So yes- this is absolutely false and deceptive advertising. You obviously do not know how to keep customers. I am not the only one who had a problem with this, so maybe instead of arguing, you should listen...
Read moreI don't appreciate this farm advertising their "Fall Mega Maze," a corn maze for the Halloween season, and to find out after driving some distance to get there that, "Oh, well, Mother Nature didn't cooperate, so the corn is only three feet high. It's still $15 to get in, though." After reviewing their website in advance, calling them on the phone in advance, no one adequately explained the problem or posted that the maze hadn't grown. They hinted that "the maze is smaller," which one would take to mean fewer acreage, not that the corn is three feet high and useless as a maze! How deceitful. We came as two families in good faith. But this was bad faith on their part. We won't be back and we'll be sure to warn others not to waste their time. UPDATE: In response to Brown & Brown's Reply to this review, note how they complete ignore the fact that they falsely advertise a "Mega Maze," and do not disclose in advance via their website or on phone calls that there effectively IS NO MAZE this year. No, they simply let people come out to the farm, where they'll STILL charge you $15 to walk through a 3-foot high "maze". This is dishonest and in bad faith. I'm not the only reviewer calling you out on this. Why don't you apologize instead of making excuses...
Read moreOn Monday three March I called at 8 o’clock and I asked for fresh strawberries and they said that they had them. We arrived approximately 9 o’clock and we observed one of the ladies restocking a flat of strawberries with a customer and we were waiting to see if those were the ones that we could buy. But we were told to go to the other side that the flats of strawberries were prepared there, believing that these strawberries were going to be the freshness that they had we purchased them and took them immediately to Senoia Georgia to our daughter’s house. There we found that the bottom layer of the strawberries of each basket were rotten and moldy covered would appear to be relatively fresh strawberries on top. I am beyond disappointed as a former farmer and Nashville farmers market vendor who held great pride in the products I sold. It was devastating. In the photos, the first photo shows what the top of the strawberries look like and the rest of the photos show the process of cutting the mold off to salvage less than half of what the total...
