Rob Fleming Aquatic Center — Attraction in The Woodlands

Just left this place and the lifeguards heard thunder overhead with blue skies and completely shut everything down. They told us we had to wait 30 min to re open but the website says 15 minutes with blue skies and it was perfectly blue skies out. We waited 30 min and right at 30 min the life guard comes up and said we just heard thunder again. Myself along with 50 parents or more were flabbergasted because Noone heard any thunder other than the first time. We stood there thinking we were all deaf but stayed and extra 30 minutes. Guess what? The life guard comes out again and says we heard thunder at that exact second. As we stood there we heard life guard say "im out of here, thank god" or "oooo thunder work is over now i can finally get out of here and have a life" Im sure I will not be the only parent that leaves a review and says these life guard are all in highschool and not a single one seemed like thaley wanted to work. They thought it was funny that they kept shutting down the event that myself and all the parents for a cheer event paid for. We did not get to go into the water one time. I would understand if we heard thunder but not a single parent heard anything after the first instance. These life guards just did not want to work. I am very upset with how this was handled and will never be returning. Let me say it again. There was zero thunder after the first instance. This was all made up so these teenagers could leave work early in my opinion. They did not follow the 15 minute rule with blue skies 1 time and I have photos and video of blue skies. Whoever is in charge of this place needs to have a talk with the entire staff because they wanted nothing to hear from the parents when we pulled up the 15 minute rule. A full refund is in order for this in my opinion and im sure the other parents who review on here will agree. I’ve been coming to this Aquatic Center for the past 5 year with my children.

If you qualify to do so I highly suggest buying either the punchcard or pass it’s definitely worth the money. I purchase at least 2 resident punchcards for my family of 4.

I love the fact that they allow you to bring in a cooler with food items & and non-alcoholic drinks💚.

They also have a concession stand with reasonably priced food & drink items for purchase. They do accept cash or card payments.

The restrooms aren’t the cleanest/smell the best so we typically only use it when it’s time to leave for the kids to change clothes and we use the family restroom.

They do have covered and uncovered seating on a first come first serve bases. Also a gazebo for parties that you can reserve in advance.

Things to bring: your own towels, sunscreen, water toys & life vest for younger children.

They do have a floating tube for use on the lazy river & water slide. Life guards are present.

This a great place to go to with children and family. There are so many things for children to do to work on their gross motor skills and its also alot of fun for them ! If you enjoy watching yoyr little one have fun, then this is the place to be! All children and adult of any age can have fun at this aquatic center. At this location, even birthday parties can be hosted! I would reccomend going early enough to be under a tent because it does get really hot and also be very prepared with food and drinks. There are also consesssion stands and ChikfilA. They aee not too strict on attire and possibly becauae for most part everyone had the apropriate swim attire. There are also plenty of life guards guarding all around and my favorite part was that in the play area the water was low enough for my one and a half year old to roam and play without us holding on to him. There is also 1 slide forolder children and adults for those who are afraid of hights it is not super high or extra dramatic drops lol and it leads right into the lazy river! Best...
