This park is more for little toddlers. I love the sand pit area. However, you have to keep an eye on your kid. Toys break over time and there could be some sharp edges. Most parents see the broken toys and toss them for everyone's safety. I also enjoy letting my 2 year old run on the playground. Nothing is high up so I don't have the anxiety of him falling off. The park is pretty well maintained (I haven't went into the restrooms though) and there's a workout area for your older kids or yourself right across the parking lot. Ā Ā Ā Read moreTHE GOOD: cool sandbox with lots of Tonka trucks and sand toys. 2 covered pavilions. Long walking trail which is mostly shady. Huge field to play ball, Frisbee, etc. A really cute performance stage with 3 sets of large bleachers surrounding it. Some very cool rocks. A few scattered picnic tables and old grills. There isn't alot to do, compared to many parks around the county. THE UGLY: the park is right beside the Convenience Center. If the wind is blowing toward the park the dumpsters can sometimes smell...

There used to be a springy horse for small children and a tire swing and both are gone with no indication that they'll be replaced :(. It's a great park though; it's not the closest to us but we travel the extra few minutes because of the trails and...
