Apple Canyon Lake Falls — Attraction in Thompson Township

Beautiful, however if you are going to view the waterfall from more than your car driving by be aware that there is nowhere "safe" to stand. The only place to see it is standing on a somewhat busy road where drivers have limited sight and the speed limit is 55. Also the guard rail is very low so I would not have little children around as the drop is very far. Other than that it is gorgeous and the drive there is beautifully terrifying in the best way. I enjoyed stopping here. Nice rural roads to get here. It is on a road but it seems like the people driving on that road know what is happening and are cautious. The day I visited we were there for over 15 minutes and only saw 10 cars. If you are a reasonable adult and use common sense you shouldn't worry. I'd be weary of bringing kids especially if you a bad parent and cannot keep an eye on them. If you are there on a hot day the mist coming off the falls is the best feeling in the world.
