What a jewel! I wish I'd known about this earlier since it's not too far from Cedar Point! Many beautiful statues. The old chapel has Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament! It is wonderful to visit Jesus there. This shrine increased my love for the God and for the saints and my longing for my true home. It is a nice respite in this "valley of tears." I went in the morning and only saw 2 other visitors. The stations of the cross are spread out enough to give you a good walk if you pray the stations! Immaculately maintained Stations of Cross, Grottos , Statuses, walkways with filled with bountiful and beautiful flowers...gratitude to a wonderful couple who volunteer their countless times to water and nurse them and a historic Chapel which is decorated with full of inspirational decorations! At the end of my a half day pilgrimage there I know that I want to visit again with my friends to have a filled with prayers and meditation! Thanks to the friendly and kind staff at the gift shop. Read moreThis is a beautiful place to enjoy walking through the gardens, Trails, and Statues outside. The grounds are lovely with lots of flowers and Nice Landscaping. There are many statues and other memorialization of various biblical and Catholic figures. The church itself is Gorgeous inside although I have never been to a service there. There is also a really neat outdoor Amphitheater. The Stations of the Cross is touching, as well. There are plenty of public restrooms which always comes in handy.
