Swinging Bridge - Jay Cooke State Park — Attraction in Thomson Township

The swinging bridge at Jay Cooke State Park is a must-see. The view of the St Louis River from the middle of the bridge is absolutely stunning with rushing water and rocky cliffs on both sides. The bridge has a slight sway as you cross which makes it a fun and memorable experience without feeling unsafe. It's a short easy walk from the visitor center and a great photo spot. Well this here Swinging Bridge - Jay Cooke State Park is fantastic. The weather and the experience is something you rarely see, the slates rock really chiseled at my feels about my thoughts and opinions and made happy and excited. Truly breathtaking.

Went to this place with no expectations but it was a complete surprise. This place stands unique with large tall stones all around and water gazing through it and with amazing view from the hanging bridge. Has a nice short trail with small and medium difficult terrain. Clean and we'll maintained restroom and office at the visitor center. Waiting to be back again for white water rafting. Don't have a second thought in visiting...
