My wife & I were so excited to hike this trail to the Choke creek falls. we were disappointed how overrated it is.
The trail is rated as easy, "For beginners," that is absolutely untrue. In many sections, the trail is rocky & very muddy.
After a 3 hour hike, we couldn't find the falls. We gave up & settled at the 4th campsite we saw. The biggest issue we had was that all the campsites sit directly on the trail.
Hikers walk on your site while your eating or hanging out watching your fire. It is ridiculous & rude that people walk a little off trail & decide to invade your space. We had plans to hike the northern part, but after what we experienced, we won't...

Campsites were nice and had plenty of tent locations as well as perfect trees for tossing up the hammock. Be careful when going after heavy rain.
