Community Park — Attraction in Thornton

I grew up in a time before the rec center on Colorado was built so I have a lot of fond memories of this place mainly because of the pool and it's slides but there were more than a couple sled trips down the big hill where the fields are and playing football or soccer or baseball at said fields. I'm not sure how connected the whole area is but I used to take karate classes at the rec center building off of eppinger and I am very excited to see how the renovation goes. This is a great little neighborhood park especially for the kids that can't make the trip to the official Thornton rec center on Colorado because it's got something for all tastes and good of wholesome...

Did not visit park. Was at Community Center for Preschool drop-off &/or pick-up. This is the only place I actually use, and need to use, my handicapped parking tag. BUT - there are usually cars without handicapped tags in the 3 spots. One car is there almost every weekday. It has a blue & white tag hanging from mirror, but the tag is not a handicapped parking tag. If they got the police to ticket these cars until the drivers learn that handicapped means handicapped, then I would give the...

I would like to talk to somebody other then a teenager. Today 6/23 me n my family went to have a good time n got harassed by the staff when i went to to talk to the young manager on duty all she did was laugh in my face so like anybody would do i lost my temper i would really like to speak with an adult. Very poor staff bad attitudes i just got my rec card and now im thinking of cutting it up not a good place to take the family...
