I have been going to this park since I was 14 years old and a Boy Scout in Bucks County and Montgomery County. That was 44 years ago, very little has changed. There is plenty of space at this park to hike, fish, kayak, and camp. If you bring your bicycles along to our plenty of good roads that are flat and not heavily trafficked. There’s a playground here, 20 some campsites with a main shower building. There is also a swimming pool and a large pavilion for picnic usage. The high rocks are close by if you are a climber, but if not there are several nice trails to get to from the campground to hide rocks. The red shale that is all around makes for a nice trails. Very photographic location. There are even several cabins and lodges to rent close to the water and the pool. Lots of deer in...

I reserved a cabin at this state park. I was unable to see the inside of the cabin prior to my reservation, because if I had I never would have stayed there. It was disgusting, the stench alone took our breathe away. The windows were broken and the fire wood they left wouldn't burn. I had to buy some from the store down the road. Their little map looks as though u had a bathroom right across the road. I was scared to even be in it for fear the filth and flies would attack me. And you have to drive to the shower house. My guest and I need to use a walker and cane, there was no handicap access. Never was I so unhappy about this stay. The reason I chose a state park was because everyone I had been to were well taken...

This is very nice campground. Clean and friendly people all over. Everybody respect each other when its quite time and still everybody having fun making campfire, walk around the campground, play at the playground. Only thing is there is no big dumpsters where you can throw away trash and they have maintenance truck by the small trash cans where people put the trash on the truck and during the night there is bears coming to hunt for food, but trash cans is covered with iron frame and locked. On our visit first time here when we pass by that truck there was a small black bear. Watch out people who sleeps in tents that there is bears. Dont leave food by your...

Wonderful state park in bucks county! They have a pool and hiking trails. They also have a few cabins which we rented .. very peaceful and affordable . Cabin 3 and 4 sit by the water and have fireplace inside, shower , multiple beds , fridge and all the normal stuff.. their is no signal at the bottom from almost all carriers , be prepared to go back a century. But a beautiful and wonderfuk experience for the entire family . Bucks county tubing us a mile down the road . You could have a awesome vacation for not that much money . Would recommend

Nice small park with a covered picnic area and swimming pool! I don’t understand the pool hours, however. Why is the pool not open on the weekends?? The trails are in decent shape, but for a first time visitor, it wasn’t obvious where the trail started and where they lead. More signage would be helpful. We asked a friendly guy who lives nearby for directions to the creek. There are also cabins to rent.
