Old Silo Winery — Attraction in Tishomingo

This was a fun day trip for us. My husband and I are always up for a new winery and road trip, so we made the 2ish hour drive to Old Silo, and it did not disappoint! They have a great selection of red, white, dry, sweet and fruity wines. Michele took great care to serve each wine during our tasting with a little about the process and the grapes. We sampled quite a few and there's something for everyone! The patio was open and just beautiful, so we sat out in the sunshine overlooking a serene pond and tall grass. They serve a little cheese tray and you can bring your own foods to enjoy and pair. We opted for the cheese tray, it's pretty basic but enough for two people to experiment with different pairings. The history of the place is really cool too, so definitely stop by and look at photos inside. We sampled and grazed all afternoon and left with several bottles of our favorites. If you love wine and discovering little Oklahoma treasures like this, it's worth your drive and money to spend a few hours there. We will definitely be back. WOW! I don’t even know where to start with the incredible experience we had at Old Silo Winery. We came here to celebrate my friend's bachelorette, and Jim and Michelle were absolutely amazing. From the beginning, they were so kind and wonderful. The wine is exceptional, and their prices are mind-blowing. The venue is beautiful, peaceful, and feels like something out of a storybook. This is a memory we will cherish forever, and I can't express how much Jim and Michelle contributed to it. We had the best time here! Quiet, peaceful, and lots of great wines to try! I saw pics of food (charcuterie board) but did not see anything posted inside, so I’m not sure if they still offer it or not. We opted for a tasting indoors, then enjoyed a glass each on the back patio watching the birds and enjoying the scenery. We bought so many bottles and plan to give a few away as gifts.
