This is a great park! The park was closed for some time and now it is open. The restrooms look upgraded and clean. It has covered pavilion with nice tables. The dock area looks new and runs the width of the park on the Indian River. It has two nice boat ramps and center dock, there are also long parking slots that fit King Trucks with Trailers. The launch is behind a breakwater and puts you in by the marina next door to the park. There is an outlet to Indian River. Go straight BONUS... The park is across from Cape Canaveral so it affords pretty good views of rockets launching!

I came over to this town for the space x flight, I was here two days prior and went to the national park beach named playlinda , which is much closer then this park. The reason I didn’t go back was the traffic after the flight is horrendous, so I choose a park without crossing the bridge, which is this one. 2-4 hours before the flight people come out with their chairs and lunch boxes to sit and wait for the launch. After the launch, don’t leave right away, wait 8-10 min to hear the sonic BOOM.

Nestled right on the water, this park offers breathtaking views of the Indian River and a clear sightline to the Kennedy Space Center. It’s an ideal spot to relax, take in the scenery, or even watch a rocket launch! One of the standout features is the well-maintained boat ramp, which makes it easy to get out on the water for fishing, kayaking, or boating. The facilities are clean and convenient, with plenty of parking available for both vehicles and trailers. The park itself is spacious and peaceful, with picnic areas, and shaded spots to sit back and enjoy the view. Whether you’re there for a family outing, a quiet solo escape, or some time on the water, Kennedy Point Park and Boat Ramp has something for everyone. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing outdoor experience with a unique connection to the space program. This park is truly...

UPDATE This park has FINALLY been repaired and is open to all boats & people who want to use the facilities there!! I left 1 star off because literally everyone who wants to bring their dogs to walk do, including myself. There needs to be a dog poop station here, I do bring my own bags, but not everyone is as considerate

As of today June 9th 2018 this park is still closed after hurricane Irma hit September 10 2017, & the only thing wrong with this park is the dock that goes with the boat ramp. This is rediculous. I've 'heard" the county is waiting for FEMA funds to fix the dock, again, rediculous. We pay taxes & for a simple dock to not get repairs to it is shameful. People need to call &...

A beautiful spot to catch a moment of the amazing views, water and occasionally a manatee or dolphin, also a good view of the space launches, it is a small park but oh so worth the stop. We enjoy lunch there occasionally also at the gazebo or on the benches by the water. Restrooms are always clean and well stocked, plus there is a handicapped restroom there right by the parking lot as well for those who have mobility issues. You can watch the boats coming in and out of the yacht club nextdoor and there's 2 boat ramps for launching from the park side also. Can't say enough positive things about our parks and recreation dept and the dedication they have to our enjoyment in Brevard...
