Lake Toccoa Event Facilities — Attraction in Toccoa

I can't imagine there being a better place to have a wedding reception anywhere! The facility is absolutely gorgeous and has everything you could possibly need. We had my daughter's wedding reception here a week ago, and we could not be happier! Phoenix was extremely helpful and accommodating in making sure we had everything we needed (and even saved the day when we forgot plates), and she responded immediately to calls/emails when we had questions. The bar is well-stocked, and Phoenix arranged the space exactly how our wedding planner requested. The balcony and bridal suite are perfect for the wedding party and for great photos! You always want your children's special events to be perfect, and the Lake Toccoa Event Facility went out of their way to make sure it was! Thank you, Lake Toccoa Event Facility...

I've been to this facility twice for a wedding. It's lovely for an outside wedding, but each wedding was held inside due to rain. I thought it was a fluke, but it was confirmed during the second wedding that more lighting is needed to obtain decent wedding pics.

The first wedding I attended had the reception elsewhere so I didn't experience the food. However, the second wedding opted to have the reception on-site. Great bar set-up. The food was horrible!! Not much effort put into the preparation or presentation. The best description would be one step above high school cafeteria food. They should be ashamed.

Recommend for cocktails only and have reception elsewhere with your preferred caterer. Venue for wedding 50-50.

We had our wedding reception here back in July and I can’t thank them enough for how accommodating and kind the staff were. Phoenix was always willing to answer any questions I had and even let us come early the day before to set everything up as well as let us stay a little longer to clean things up. She is a fantastic bartender as well and was able to keep up with a a very large crowd of people wanting drinks all at the same time. The scenery was beautiful and even though it is right by a golf course no one bothered us at all. For the pricing, accommodations and help that they have me along the way I would 1000% recommend having an event here. Thank you all again, I can’t...
