North Shore Commercial Fishing Museum — Attraction in Tofte Township

This is truly a delightful and charming museum. This museum provided rich and fascinating history, as well as intriguing and beautiful historical artifacts. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit. I learned a very interesting part of history that I can pass along and carry with me, which made our visit to the north shore all the more special! Finally, the gentlemen (I wish I could recall his name) at the front desk was so kind and helpful! He was such a sweet and knowledgeable man, eager to help us learn and discover more about commercial fishing and the area! This museum has hiking maps and other valuable info that can be useful for making the north shorter trip even better! I also purchased a beautifully drawn map and hand made art.
