Swan Creek Preserve Metropark — Attraction in Toledo

It has two different sections but it's called the same park name. One parking lot is off of Airport Highway and the other parking lot it's off of Glendale Avenue. There within probably a mile of each other but you wouldn't know it unless you enter in your Navi or something I must say out of the whole city I think this place has the 2 most unique playgrounds. It's just very elaborate and one of them even has an elliptical, the one at the Glendale Avenue parking lot entrance, which is kind of cool so parents who want to lose some weight can just jump on it while their kids play 10 20 feet ahead of them. First time coming to this park. Absolutely loved how clean this park is! I was so impressed with the cleanliness of the restrooms. Best parts of this park for me were the map and swinging bridge.

There was literally no chance of getting lost with all the proper signage located around the park. Truly a good nature walk :) brisk walk of about 7000 steps if you follow only the main loop from the airport entrance.

Good security placed in the park as well. Which does help in feeling safe especially during this time of year. Better to travel in pairs/groups if you're enjoying the park in the late or early hours. There are certain sections which are...

I moved here recently from a "trail" town so I didn't expect much, but what a gem this is. WoW!! I didn't even get to explore the whole thing...there is something for everyone here. A nice bathroom and picnic area with a playground and groomed lawn. There are trails that loop together for a long or short jaunt. Paved, wide gravel and some short rustic trails for all sorts of people. Woods, meadows, streams and wildlife...what's not to love. The trails are well marked and have some nicely placed benches and an overlook...pet poop products also provided. I look forward to returning to check out...
