I recently had the pleasure of visiting Whitman Hill Winery, and it was an unforgettable experience! Nestled in a hidden, park-like setting, this winery offers a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Excellent wine at a very fair price for the quality! The owners Scott and Denise are very kind and knowledgeable as are the rest of the staff. In the tasting room Wyatt and Kat are always so friendly and accommodating! They have done such a wonderful job with the updates to the grounds around the tasting room, and have made it such a fun space to hangout with friends and enjoy delicious wines! We are really looking forward to their future plans for their Estate Winery just up the road with breathtaking views of Mount Adam’s and Mount Rainier as well as the entire Lower Yakima Valley! We were driving thru on our way to Seattle and had the opportunity to stop at Whitman Winery. The grounds were beautiful as we pulled in but quickly were out-staged by the staff and the wine. Kat was amazing and we felt like we had met a kindred soul. Her passion for the wines and the company made our progress thru the wine flights even that more enjoyable. The grounds have a spot for all from a single person to a large group and if you are not able to just exhale, relax and truly enjoy the moment here you might just not be able to.
