Small but beautifully curated exhibit. I went on a Sunday where I found much needed peace on the empty campus of Purchase (which was also architecturally cool)! Took the train from the city to White Plains and got an uber to the museum, since it’s about 20 minutes of a ride from the station. I was greeted by the warmest security guard (I forgot his name, but he was rocking a huge gold cross necklace). He encouraged me to come back in a few months, as he mentioned the exhibitions change. Not to mention, they have an absolutely gorgeous Steinway that’s free for public playing—the tone is warm and lovely since I tested it out a bit. I will definitely be back; thank you for a...

I've been to the Neuberger probably 10 times in the past decade. In general, it's a very good art museum that rotates its exhibits as much or more than any other in the area. It's permanent collection is excellent for a medium-sized museum. Their best shows have been exceptional and top notch, but they also have some less interesting works exhibited at times. Overall it is well curated and always worth a visit when you are in the area....

The Neuberger is a treasure of modern and contemporary art. Their permanent collection is on mark with MoMA. Their shows are cutting edge, giving some of the best artists of today an opportunity to shine. Another great part about it is that you won't lose your shirt getting in the door! Where can you go see artworks from literally all over the globe and only pay a quarter of what you would to get into MoMA.....no where except...

So much respect for Roy R Neubergers private collection displayed at the SUNY Purchase College in Purchase NY. Neuberger Museum of Art Located at the heart of the Purchase College, SUNY campus, and established in 1974 with a core collection donated by collector, philanthropist, and arts advocate Roy R. Neuberger. The museum's permanent collection has grown to over 6,000 works of contemporary, modern, and African art.

Wonderful museum filled with a serious amount of art from Georgia O'Keefe to Ansel Ansel Adams. What I love most about this small small is many of the current exhibitions support living working artists which is a pleasant thing to see. The staff is very friendly and helpful a great place to visit while in Westchester. Friendly tip while the museum is putting up an installation admission is free!
