County Line Stables — Attraction in Town of Amsterdam

I have been lucky enough to board my horse at Countyline Stables for the last three years. Each and every part of our experience there was seamless. Pat, Jean, Martina and all the boarders are incredible. My horse was always well taken care of and loved during his stay at Countyline. Work keeps our family moving around this great country. Most places I will hitch up a trailer and my horse comes too. However, one of our more recent moves was out in the great pacific on the Hawaiian island of Oahu. We didn’t see it fair to move the horse there and put him through all of that, therefore he stayed behind. This was a hard choice to make... but Countyline quickly eased the nerves for me. My horse was treated and cared for just like he was one of their own, even while his owner was so far away. Hands down one of the best boarding experiences I have encountered. I had the pleasure of meeting Pat and Jean Marie through a mutual friend. As a result of meeting them and asking some questions I decided to have them work with my horse. I couldn't be happier with the relationship we have developed through business and on a personal level. People forget that even though you come to visit, ride or board a horse there it is still their home that they are opening up to everyone. I always feel welcomed and comfortable. I love the facility, the indoor is just beautiful with a heated viewing room and a bathroom with hot water! They truly love the horses with safety being a top priority. The worst boarding experience ever. My horse stood in mud all the time, stalls never cleaned, horse never had water or properly fed. I supplied my own grain and they didn't feed it properly. Came to barn to outdoor water tank frozen solid because they opted to not plug in the heater and the horses had no hay. Owner mishandles horses and allows kid to run around spooking horses. Wife bullies the boarders and causes problems. Sadly the very worst experience ever.
