I absolutely love this hike!! It’s 0.8 miles with a 700 foot elevation gain. The view is worth it. As someone who hikes occasionally, it definitely isn’t the easiest hike but it’s so short that really anyone could do it if you take breaks on the way up.

I’ve gone 3 times now, and twice has been the morning after a night of rain. The trail wasn’t flooded, and was still very nice. Definitely would not recommend in active rain as the rocks would be very slippery. The rocks are so much fun when not wet. The decent is very easy, but definitely harsh if you have weaker knees. Again going slowly I think it is a very easy hike.

Due to it being easier, especially for the view, it is a very popular hike. Plenty of room on the top that even with other groups it isn’t crowded.

Personally I like to pack a sandwich and hike up to eat lunch. Up is about 30-40 minutes, and down is 20-30 for moderately fit...

Moderately steep but relatively short hike to the top of Echo cliff. Trail is not super well marked, but well traveled so shouldn't be difficult to follow. It mostly follows a stream so expect muddy shoes and clothes if hiking after rain. Definitely not an ADA accessible trail. The view from the top is fantastic and it's relatively wide and flat at the top, so it feels very safe. There's also a secondary vantage point just a couple minutes before you reach the peak. At first I thought that that was the peak, don't let it fool you too. Round trip took about an hour at an easy walking pace with 3 kids in tow,...

Short moderate .6 mile hike up with some great views of Piseco Lake. It gets pretty steep towards the summit so be ready for that. Trail is well marked with trail signs plus the well worn trail path is easy to follow. Can be muddy after a rain. Also after a rain, the larger rock surfaces you are walking on can become slick, so use caution. Plenty of room on the summit to spread out and enjoy the views if its busy up there. If youre hiking it in the summer, the bugs in the woods are pretty relentless but not so bad on the summit. Hike up takes around 35 minutes Good sized parking area....

Love this one! Quick-ish out and back hike, but definitely a bit strenuous. It's nice to get the blood pumping on the way up and take a nice rest at the top before heading back down. Rocky and full of tree roots, so not optimal for those who struggle with knee issues. I always find the hike down more difficult on the body. Saw many families with kids and dogs.
