Good Luck Lake is a great place for hiking (Good Luck Mountain), camping and kayaking (via the West Branch Sacandaga River.) There is nothing particularly unique about Good Luck Lake and the surrounding area but it’s a really nice, not that busy part of the Adirondacks that is reasonably close for people who live to the south...

Trail maps are off but nice lake. Sometimes gets a little crowded by visitors. If you go where the trail says it is, it's marshy and bug filled. Facing the lake, go to the pull of to the right of where it tells you. They're a cpl...
