Honestly I wouldn't reccomend it. It has no internet at most of the camping areas. If you're lucky you'll live next to the lake and get a decent amount of internet. 2 good areas for the internet connection is 1. The boat dock 2. Near the copper swing by the lake. There's also a ton of nats around sundown. The last day and there's a ton of mosquitoes, nats and pine seed thingys everywhere. Fishing is also a bummer because of 1. The wind 2. Barely any good spots 3. There's little black bug fly things that fly everywhere and land on your hand. The toll for an extra park on your campsite for 3 days is 15 dollars. When you're trying to get internet by the water look out for nats surrounding your head. There's a playground and a picnic area but I didnt spend too much time there. Rule for dogs are they should be leashed at all times outdoors. Theres also a shower building along with some public bathrooms scattered around the...
Read moreMe and my husband have stayed here for the past 2 years and it wasn't until this year that we will not be coming back. We went to take a shower and the showers were filthy and they bathrooms were about the same. We were one our honeymoon and the heat was making me and my husband sick so we wanted to go someplace with air and get our money back. We couldn't get our money back for the unstayed nights which seemed acceptable, but we were told we could get a "camper credit" and just finish out the unstayed nights another time. We went home in the air conditioning (we live down the road) and we debated it, called them only for them to say that the credit could not even be done. So basically, we donated an extra $60.00 to them for nothing. Not to mention they were rude when me and my husband were just trying to talk to them. We will not be...
Read moreMy family absolutely loves it out here every year that we get a seasonal site. The campsite are big enough to bring a boat and space for 2 other vehicles. The staff is very helpful and they also check on the campsites every day and night. The wildlife is so amazing with different kinds of birds, rabbits, bunnies. It's pet friendly and all the kid's are totally safe when down swimming, riding bikes and taking nature walks. Yes sometimes there's algae on the lake but it normal every year when the lake turns over but after that its clear again to take boats out and kid's could go swimming. My family loves it every year!!! Keep up the amazing work staff....
