Sanford Lake — Attraction in Town of Bath

Very great kayaking and swimming lake, not so much for fishing. The boat launch was also very kayak-friendly which was convenient. We loved going into the little coves and paddling through the lilypads which were blooming at the time. The water was also nice for swimming and really refreshing on a hot day. Great camping site. There's plenty of room in the spaces, a large lake for fishing/kayaking, and porta-johns in the summer. There are also fire rings, picnic tables and a ramp to launch your boat. Highly recommend for daytime lunch...

Very beautiful... Very shader. It's a little hard to find. Also local campers there all the time. So you might not get the fishing spot you want. But definitely worth the drive. It's private secluded. And there is a porta...
