My wife and I first came to Scout Vineyards with some friends in October 2022. We were very impressed not just with the wines, but with the passion and dedication in the wines, but also their knowledge and their friendliness to those who visit.

My wife was never a lover of Chardonnay until she tried the Stainless Steel Chardonnay. It was fantastic. In truth, there was not a wine there that we did not like, including the final one we tried- the LaGrange.

Since then, my wife and I became members of the wine club. We live in NE Philly, so it made sense to have it shipped since we maybe get to the Finger Lakes once a year. We always try to stop by when we are in the area to visit and buy a couple bottles and say hello. When we stopped by in June, I was pleasantly surprised that they remembered our group from that Oct '22 visit.

Often when visiting a winery for a tasting, you don't often get to meet and chat with ownership, but Dan and Olivia are usually there and Maddie always greets us with a smile. We truly enjoy getting a chance to talk with them. They have some new reds on the way, and my wife and I are eagerly anticipating the chance to try them when they are released.

BTW- their Pinot Blanc is fantastic. We always bring a bottle with us on our shore vacations to enjoy with dinner or a...

We saw a bunch of great reviews and had to check Scout Vineyards out! It's a newer location only being around for around (5) years. The name "Scout" is a throwback to their first jobs in the industry while also lending a sense of exploration.

On our visit we got to meet one of the proprietors Olivia who opened Scout Vineyards with her husband Daniel. They are a younger couple, but don't be fooled as they have a lot of experience in the wine industry, from the Finger Lakes to Napa Valley and even New Zealand!

Their location is smaller than most, catering to a pleasant, more intimate, relaxing wine tasting experience. We visited in the winter, so the tastings were limited to the (3) tables (ground level). The small fireplace warmed us up from the cold outside. Each table could accommodate up to (6) guests. We saw that reservations are recommended, but stopped in on a whim when we were in the area and they were able to seat us.

The pairing we had was great with some baguettes from a local bakery. We also had an apricot jam, goat cheese and almond butter. The wines are not the least expensive in the region, but that is because of the quality and craftsmanship. These winemakers know their stuff. Stop in, you'll be...

Scout is by far the best winery in the FL (in my opinion). My husband and I have been visiting Scout for the last 5 years and every time we go, it just get better and better. Last year we decided to join their wine club and it is beyond worth it. Not only are the wines AMAZING, but the staff and the service are INCREDIBLE. Daniel and Olivia and the rest of the crew always go above and beyond when we visit. We always bring our friends with us and they treat them as if they are family. They are seriously the nicest people and every time we go we just have the BEST time. Scout makes some very unique wines and the quality is just unreal. Haven't ever had one that we didn't absolutely love. Whether it's your first time in the Finger Lakes, or you've been visiting for awhile - you HAVE to stop at Scout. The staff, the wine, the vibes, and snacks are always amazing. Join their wine club - you WON'T regret it. They are simply the best of the...

What an amazing winery! We visited 8 wineries during our stay in the FLX and Scout was our favorite!! Ask Olivia and her husband their story-it’s a great one!! Olivia was so friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked through the door. She made sure we were Comfortable and taken care of. They also gave us fresh bread, butter, jam and cheese To go along with our wine. And what amazing wine it was!!! They only had 5 but when people have less on their menu it means they do excellent work with the small menu they have. And their wines did not disappoint. While they were on the pricier side of the wineries for purchasing a bottle, I can promise the quality is worth it! No added sugar headaches!!!! We will most definitely make Scout the one we always visit in FLX.
