Great place to hike, hunt, fish. I found an area that had been logged in ~40ft wide strips separated by undisturbed forest. Found it on maps satellite view. The area is on Jiggs road a few hundred feet from Miller road. It provided varied habitat to hike through. Thought the disturbed land might have morels, but found none. Several other types of mushrooms were growing. Many many ferns and a variety of tree species.

Small parking lot off of Taberton Rd. This area has no trails, so if you are not well equipped and prepared do not venture too far out. Plenty of deer and birds to track around, gorgeous little slice of heaven.

It turned out to be an ideal place for a picnic there was a small lake a beach some shade tables parking place and restrooms canoes with life jackets were available for us to go rowing for short distances weather was favourable Time just flew we had to clear out before Closing time looking forward to visiting the...

We enjoyed the park more this year than any. The management team were always informative and kind. It was such a clean serene escape for our needs this year to have family time or vacationing safe and small... Ty all for the best...
