Genesee County Park offers many pavilions for holding events. They offer smaller and larger pavilions depending on your needs. In general, availability is quite high however, keep in mind the timeframe of your reservation. Obviously if you have an event around a major holiday or in prime summer then you may need a few weeks advance notice. The pavilions are cheap, if I recall it is $50 and they do allow you to bring alcohol.
There are plenty of wooded trails to enjoy and there are also a number of playgrounds and open fields for kids to enjoy. The pavilions are generally quite separated so you shouldn't need to worry about others encroaching on your event.

This park is located in a quiet, rural environment away from the hustle and bustle of suburban parks and the noise of local traffic. You can either walk the paved road through the main section of the park or wander the many trails with interesting names such as Death Row Trail, Turtle Pond Trail, and Deer Run Trail. Some hills, a few pavilions to sit at. I think this is a bird watchers paradise...I identified the following species: Northern Flicker, red wing blackbird, eastern screech owl, cardinal, red breasted nuthatch, red bellied woodpecker, Canada goose, crow, nuthatch, black capped chickadee, turkey, and a red tail fox.
