Ample parking in the provided lot on a weekday. I took the white loop that starts across the Rarick Road first. I only saw 2 other people on this trail (and 2 later on the creek trail). Easy forest walk, mostly flat with some stones and tree roots. It was surprisingly not muddy and few bugs. Amazing rock formations and lots of native plants. On my way back, I connected with the blue/creek trail, which has amazing views of the rushing water. This is a bit rockier path. You have to walk along Rarick Road a little ways at the end of this trail to connect to the last leg that will take you back to parking. Overall I walked about 2 miles. The trails are well marked and kept. Would definitely come...

Fun place for a hike through the woods. Muddy. Wear appropriate footwear. Beautiful. Not difficult, but there are some tricky spots if you’re with a baby. No stroller. An ergo can work if you are strong. I’m 60, went with my daughter, son-in-law, foster dog, 5 year old grandson and 10 month old twins. I have so-so feet and knees and balance; finding a good stick to help me walk was a huge help -...

Nice preserve for a walk. The bottom by the brook was more interesting than the woods, although the quarry and the sinkhole were interesting to look at. The small pond by the brook was surrounded by lovely flower. The whole place was quiet...

This is a beautiful spot not far from where we live in Delmar New York. The trail along the creek is beautiful and follows it for quite a ways. That trail is a little bit rocky, but the other trails are much smoother if that’s a concern to you.

Wow, what a hidden treasure. Quiet, serene walk through so much nature. Interesting history to the land, and many artifacts remain. I don’t know where I’ve seen so many lifeforms in such a small area. Five stars.
