This is a really pretty place. It's gorgeous in any season, but REALLY cold in winter; however, if you bring a Sweetie, a blanket to wrap in, and a thermos of a hot beverage, you can sit on the bench swing and look. Also, there is a dirt parking lot/tiny park with a grill and picnic bench just beyond the giant wing, so you don't get stuck in the 10 minute parking area next to the Lookout. In spring and summer, you can watch the gliders literally go over your head when they take off. Stunning overlook! This has that pained twinge of bittersweet nostalgia to it, as we would frequently come here as a family with my beloved grandmother years ago. It’s a tranquil place and the ideal location for head stirring views. A panoramic majesty offers sweeping and dizzying views of the gorgeous finger lakes landscape.
