First off, let me just start by saying our wedding was absolutely perfect from start to finish, and surpassed everything that I've been dreaming of my entire life. There is not a single thing we would have done differently. A lot of our guests insisted that it was the most fun wedding they had ever been to. We even had people in our community come up to us and ask if we were the ones who got married last weekend because they heard all about it from their friends how much fun it was.
When selecting a venue we wanted to find one that was simple yet elegant, large enough to hold up to 250 guests (we didn't know what our total would be), had a nice indoor ceremony space in case of a rainy day, a nice bar, easily accessible, and affordable. There were only a few venues that checked all those boxes with flying colors, most of which were significantly more expensive and some of which were not an inclusive space to all people. What we didn't know about The Eloise is how incredible Ben, Stacey, and all the staff would be and how convenient everything would be to put together.
It only took us one brief visit to The Eloise to see right away how passionate and professional Ben and Stacey were about their business. They were incredibly easy to communicate with, usually responding to emails within minutes. They are very thorough and gave us all the information we needed whenever we needed it. They were very knowledgeable about local vendors and have a list of vendors they have worked with before. We were able to find the perfect vendors for every aspect of our wedding within a few days.
When searching for an officiant, we didn't have anyone in mind and found out that Ben offered his own services. We decided to go with him, and that was the best decision we could possibly have made. He spent countless hours stitching together the perfect custom ceremony script, and a lot of our guests genuinely expressed how it was the best wedding ceremony they had ever attended.
The building itself was incredibly well-designed. The groom and bridesmaid suites were spacious and convenient and accessible at all times with a keypad. The reception space is quite large and even though we only had about 120 guests, I felt like we could have easily had double that and it wouldn't have felt cramped at all. The dance floor is conveniently positioned at the front, reducing foot traffic around the tables. The reception space itself is very plain and simple, but that is on purpose. You can customize it any way you want and there aren't a bunch of ugly permanent decorations all over the walls that you have to cover up.
We read every single google review before booking this venue, and the only complaint we saw pop up more than once was about noise levels from a few disgruntled guests. I've been to quite a few weddings and when you cram over 100 people into one room it is going to be loud no matter what. I didn't feel that it was any louder than any other wedding we've been to. We were able to have conversations with everyone the entire night, even grandparents, without any trouble. Also, there is a really pretty patio right outside where you can whisper to each other if you really wanted to. One review even complained that the DJ was playing music too loud, I don't think they understand that the DJ isn't included in the venue. We had no problems with ours.
All in all, Ben and Stacey are incredible people to work with and really truly care about all of their guests. They treat you like family as if they've known you your entire life. If we could go back in time with an unlimited wedding budget we wouldn't have done it any differently except maybe book the next day as well and keep the party going through the entire night. They made sure our big day was as perfect and magical as it could possibly be and we don't have one single regret...
Read moreWhen I first got engaged I did a ton of research on possible wedding venues to host our much dreamed about Sunday morning brunch wedding. At first, nothing caught my eye. Which is not surprising because I was extremely picky and knew exactly what I wanted. It seemed like all the places were dark and gloomy or old and barn like. Not what I was going for at all. Until I saw pictures of The Eloise. It was like a breath of fresh air. It was bright with an elegant, simple but modern flair. The Eloise was the FIRST and ONLY venue we toured. It checked all of our boxes. The outdoor grounds and landscaping were perfect for an outdoor ceremony with a lush green forest background and two outdoor patios. As soon as we walked in, we knew. This was the only place we wanted our wedding. The upstairs was a perfect option for a ceremony (if the weather wasn’t nice because Wisconsin weather is very unpredictable and we needed a backup plan to our outdoor ceremony) or cocktail hour where it was a big enough space for guests to mingle and be comfortable in the on site modern/glamorous rental furniture (which is amazing and highly recommend). The upstairs ceremony/cocktail hour space overlooks the grand downstairs. As you look over the staircase, all you see is these high ceilings, gold fabulous light fixtures and a wall of windows letting all of the natural light in and a great space for our guests to eat, dance and celebrate. It is stunning. You will not find another venue like The Eloise in looks and in what it has to offer. They have amazing bride and groom suites perfect for getting ready and taking those pre-wedding pictures, tables, chairs, rental furniture, bar, and big kitchen for catering staff. It took so much stress off of our shoulders. And….the owners, Ben and Stacey, are the most hard working, determined, kind people you will ever meet. They truly care about the happiness of the couples and will go above and beyond making sure everything is perfect and exactly the way you want it. They are extremely prompt in all of the communication and questions we had in our journey and were on top of everything. Every detail. Every plan. Every everything. They made it so easy to not worry about a thing so we could focus on what we were there for: love, happiness and marriage! We were so impressed and are truly grateful for The Eloise and making all of our wedding...
Read moreWe could not have imagined a better or more BEAUTIFUL venue to host our wedding than The Eloise!!
We met Stacey and Ben before they had even begun construction on The Eloise. As they shared their blueprints, design plans, and dreams for the space, we immediately fell in love. We also felt so comfortable with and confident in Stacey and Ben, even though at the time, they were still several months away from breaking ground! They were both so thoughtful, informed, and communicative, that we knew right away this was the right fit for us. It was such an incredible experience and joy to watch The Eloise be built and come to life and to see Stacey and Ben’s dream venue be realized!!
The Eloise was the PERFECT setting for our wedding. The classic space was adaptable to our wedding design plans. The Eloise is truly the perfect backdrop, upon which any vision can be realized. The stunning floor to ceiling windows also offer so much light that warms the inside and really brings the space to life. There are so many sweet touches outdoors as well, like the fire pit, that offer multiple spaces for guests to enjoy.
Beyond the beauty of the physical space, Stacey and Ben make wedding planning easy! They offer open houses where you can pop in with questions and imagine how the space can function for you on your day. They are very responsive to emails and always work hard to ensure that together you can reach your goals. On the day of our wedding, everything went off without a hitch, and a large part of that is due to the exceptional thoughtfulness they put into The Eloise.
Everything about having our wedding at The Eloise and working with Stacey and Ben was such a dream, and we could not...
