Let me just say I have been coming here for a long time ever since I was a little kid, I am now 22 years old and if you want a honest review on Adirondack extreme then read this… like I have said I have been coming to this place for about 12 years now, and it’s a blast I recommend it. But there is something that happened in July of 2025. I was having a blast with my family as we normally do there, when we just started on course 4 and the first obstacle is a zip line. Well I went to use the zip line and started to pick up speed rapidly when coming up in the distance there was a tree very close to were I was going to and I was going at a rapid speed and realize that I was going to hit the massive tree. Well I hit the tree going full force, I came to a complete stop. I was hanging there in extreme pain to were my eyes started to tear. The best way I can describe how it felt… is a NFL linebacker hit me with full force and make me come to a complete stop. My hat fell from my head from the force. I yelled to the guide to come get me but I realized that i will not be able to climb again for the rest of the of the day. But I was in very bad pain so I was hanging there and the guide ask me what happened. I explain and he said that your to fat that’s why you were spinning to the left. Let me tell you I am 22 years old,5-10,and about 180 pounds I am not fat. So please next time you come here make sure you look at course 4 before climbing our you will...

Our extended family, including children aged 6 to 16 and adults, recently visited the Adirondack Extreme Adventure Course and had an incredible time! Making a reservation was a breeze—even just an hour before arrival—and checking in was smooth. The staff made it convenient to split payments among our group, which was very helpful.
I appreciated the staff's attention to safety; they were meticulous in ensuring that each participant was on the appropriate course. Initially, I wanted my 9-year-old to try the adult course, but the staff wisely assessed her arm reach and recommended the kids' course instead. Seeing both courses in action, I'm grateful for their judgment as the adult course would have been too challenging for her.
The kids' course was not only fun but also extremely safe. My 6-year-old had a moment of fear on one of the platforms, and an expert staff member was quick to climb up and help her through the course, which was very reassuring.
After a long day of climbing, the Gatorade and packaged ice cream available at the shop were the perfect way to cool down. They also offer a selection of T-shirts and other merchandise, which are great for souvenirs.

Read moreWe had such an amazing time! Everything about this place is great! the staff are friendly and helpful. The courses are fun, challenging, and in great condition. The safety equipment is top notch! I never felt unsafe, even when tackling difficult obstacles 50 feet in the air.
Adirondack Extreme Adventure offers six courses of increasing difficulty, plus an easy novice course. Each course is comprised of a variety of bridges, obstacles, and ziplines. My wife, teenage daughter and I did courses 1-4 (sold as a set), and found those to be a good fit for us. The course 1 was easy but fun. Course 2 was a little more challenging, but still very doable and fun. Course 3 had some really good challenges, but was still a lot of fun. Course 4 had a few challenges that really kicked our butts, but we got through them and the zipline at the end was one of the best.
In all we spent about four hours going through these courses at our own pace. This included the orientation and safety demonstration, as well as a few trips down the big tandem zipline out front, which you can do as many times as you like.
I highly recommend this experience and plan...
