North Trout Nature Trail — Attraction in Town of Boulder Junction

This is a beautiful trail that is a short drive from downtown Boulder Junction. The trail was in great shape and well maintained. It provided us with great views and was a fairly easy walk. Some parts are a little rough from roots and an area does run close to a steep hill down to the lake, be cautious with kids. But the distance is perfect and my little ones made it with no issue. We will definitely be hiking this again...

This is an amazing self-guided nature trail. I highly recommend it. It begins in a lowland black spruce bog. When the angle of the light is high and bright the moss comes alive.
